Ernest F. Jones Sr. (Fletcher) passed from earth to Heaven on November 6th.
He began his journey in Malone, FL, a place he often referred to as LA. If you’re from there, you’ll know what it means. He married his sweetheart Pat and they were inseparable for well into 6 decades. He was a very proud Veteran, serving during the Korean War era and spoke often of his experiences in the Army. He was highly educated and received many accolades from the University of Life, a place he embraced and made many donations to, until his earthly Life was over. He began working full time around the age of 13 to support his family’s farm and spent much of his work life honing his many talents in the trades with the majority of his time and talents being dedicated to his position of Lead Painter at Sea World. Fletcher was blessed with a lengthy retirement that allowed him to renovate homes, build custom furniture, travel and spend countless hours with his family. He not only attended Church and was a Christian from an early age, he considered it a privilege and again used his talents to help maintain and improve the buildings and those around him as a teacher, a Deacon, a mentor and counselor.
